The Taskaid API reads and changes the same tasks, lists and daily plans you see in the app, from your own scripts and from apps you build.
- Get a key: create an API key in Settings, read only or read and write.
- Read the reference: the Taskaid API reference covers signing in, the rules every request follows, the errors and every endpoint, and lets you try requests with your key.
- Load the description: import
/openapi.jsoninto an API client, such as Postman, Bruno or others, to get every request ready to send.
Assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude don't need the API. They connect through the Taskaid MCP server.
